W.A. MUSEUMS & PRIVATE COLLECTIONS.
The following list of Museums and Private collections may be of some benefit to those of you
driving across from the east; or spending some time exploring our vast state, which will make your
trip to Western Australia a memorable one. Please ensure that your make a phone call before
turning up to avoid disappointment and perhaps a long drive. Many small museums find it difficult
finding staff to man their museums and are only open for limited hours or by appointment, and the
same applies to private collections.
Be sure to ask what else there is to see when paying a visit; some of the locals may have some well
kept secrets. Craft shops are also a great way to keep the Ladies on side, and try to look happy when
they keep you waiting.
